The St. Louis Cardinals known as up first baseman Luken Baker from Triple-A Memphis and designated catcher Tres Barrera for task on Sunday
Baker, 26, has 18 residence runs on the season, tying him with Jo Adell of Triple-A Salt Lake for the minor league lead. Baker’s 53 RBIs rank third in that class within the minors.
The Cardinals chosen Baker, then taking part in at TCU, with the seventy fifth total choose within the 2018 draft. He was the 2015 Gatorade Nationwide Participant of the Yr at Oak Ridge Excessive College in Conroe, Texas
When he seems in his first sport with St. Louis, he’ll develop into the third member of the Cardinals to make his debut this season, following outfielder Jordan Walker and right-hander Guillermo Zuniga
